Business Real Estate Forum For Entrepreneurs, Investors, and Professionals
“Blog intro’s usually suck” was the first thought as my butt hit the chair. Penning the intro to one’s own blog is akin to drafting an informative, but touching, yet hilarious kick ass best man speech for that lifelong best friend. And the speech I just mentioned, why its just my style. Informative, conscientious, and funny mixed with the occasional inappropriate language. Thus with no further ado, I give you “Business Real Estate”.
I warned you, blog intro’s really do usually suck
The goal though is to get you to hang around long enough to give me a chance to show you I have considerable domain expertise and can add value to your knowledge base in the fast changing field of Business Real Estate aka Commercial Real Estate.

I will share information devoted to the discussion of Business Real Estate in the following categories:
- Business Real Estate — leasing, sales, transaction processes, lease/sale/buy strategies, OP EX (expense) mitigation, accelerated business growth alternatives, contracting, and a host of other transaction related material.
- Investment Real Estate — acquisition/disposition, investment processes, investment principals, loss mitigation, leverage and debt, and investment psychology.
- Real Estate Entrepreneurship — operations, salesforce recruiting and management, business development, marketing, sales, branding, competition, technology and tools, and other important topics.
- Real Estate Industry Technology — Commercial Real Estate Tech (#CRETech) Real Estate Tech (#RETech) and ongoing innovation developments in the landscape of the real estate industry.
I suspect occasionally the subject will go off topic and address business principals and issues that could have an impact on SMB’s and Start up’s.
You’ll notice the title is “Business Real Estate” and not Commercial Real Estate. This was a purposeful decision. There are some pretty terrific commercial real estate writers blogging on the topic of commercial real estate brokerage, investments, and finance. They do a good job covering the transactional aspect of #CRE, but my goal in creating this blog is to create a comprehensive arena where many diverse participants in the industry can congregate. An open publication on Medium where information and discussions surrounding topics important to the industry can be found and viewed by all.
The desire is to establish a forum where contributors with unique perspectives working to solve different industry problems casts a net wide enough to include the discussion of matters not only affecting owners and occupants of Business Real Estate, but also the issues entrepreneurs and Start up’s working on creating new innovative products and services face. These discussions would be amplified by the contributions of Angel and Venture Capital investors investing in real estate companies.
The new millennium has brought many new technological innovations to the real estate industry. Many of these changes have dynamically altered the way business is conducted, business is found, investments are made, Venture Capital is deployed, and ultimately profits are earned.
