Hey, what’s up?
I guess it’s time for me to finally dish out the juicy details about myself. “Juicy” should probably be in quotation marks, but I have to make myself sound interesting somehow, don’t I?
I’m Skyla (some people call me Skai or Spade), and I’m an artist and writer. My first love was art, considering I started to take drawing seriously in the second grade. I started with pencils and lined paper just like most people, doodling my favorite characters. I remember learning how to draw Sonic the Hedgehog and manga/anime at a young age, rather it be from YouTube or those old-school how-to-draw books from Michael’s.
In modern day, I’m a digital artist who mostly sticks with creating work for my original characters. Characters like my beloved Spade (yes, that’s why some people call me that), who I’ve had since I was around ten years old. Of course, I still do a bit of fanart here and there.
