Who I Am

I’m a former engineer and manager in the telecommunications industry.

I have a BSc degree in Mathematical Engineering, which is a combination of Math, Computer, and Mechanical Engineering classes. Graduates of this department, like myself, are heavily involved in the IT industry.

I also have an MSc in Engineering and Technology Management.

I’ve spent nearly 20 years in the Telecom R&D Department, the last six as a manager. After two decades in the corporate world, I left in May 2019 to start a new life and business as a writer.

I’m the mother of an 11-year-old very handsome and intelligent boy, and it’s my favorite role in life.

I’m also married to the world’s most enjoyable, positive, and friendly person. A man who has at least one friend from every country on the planet.

I’m the eldest of three sisters who are all very close. We have a cheerful and supportive family life, which makes me feel blessed.

I mostly live in Istanbul, the city I adore. Istanbul is unique in many ways, including the Bosphorus, its deep history, a great mix of western and eastern cultures, the 24 hour living…
