Hi reader, thanks so much for wanting to learn more about me :)

I’m a human being, originally from Sugar Land, Texas, recently moved to California after spending my entire life in the same 25-mile radius. My parents are Indian, I have many questions revolving around identity and purpose. I’ve only recently started to feel a sense of belonging in my life.

I mostly write personal stories and poetry. I’m still finding my writer’s voice.

I write to share thoughts and moments from my life with the aspiration that they will help you in yours. I hope that you laugh, cry, or say “aha!” when you read something I write.

Writing is very different from most of the roles I have played and continue to play in my life. I don’t have any formal credentials related to writing. I just enjoy the process and it comes much more from my heart than from my mind.

I’m less confused lately than I used to be. Perhaps the work of years of self-reflection and professional help? But I still find the world to be a confusing place.
